Ubuntu Kylin operating system 18.04 (Bionic Beaver) is the third long-term support version after 14.04 and 16.04. It officially provides technical support (including regular update / bug repair / security upgrade) for up to three years, during which periodic updates will be provided. Today's 18.04.4 LTS release is the fourth update, and the next update, 18.04.5 LTS, will be released on August 6 this year.

Like the previous LTS series, Ubuntu Kylin 18.04.4 includes the hardware support stack used on the new hardware. On the basis of 18.04.3, it has carried out a comprehensive security upgrade and bug repair, including updating the default theme snap icon, fixing the usn-4263-1 issue(sudo vulnerability), solving the compatibility problem of HWE stack, and adding new upstream repair patches of IBus as well as Thunderbird client loading external dictionary and other functions.
