COSCon'19, the open source annual event in 2019 , was successfully held by the open source society in East China Normal University (North Zhongshan Road Campus, Putuo District, Shanghai) from November 2 to 3. As the most influential open source annual event in the industry, the event scale is very huge. The main venue in the morning which can accommodate thousands of people, and 9 sub venues in the afternoon brought a new sharing event for all the participants in Shanghai Station. Among them, 9 sub venues include open source community and project, enterprise open source, open source operating system, open source education, open source hardware, women's participation in open source, workshop/training camp, open source governance, open source community and project as well as meeting and flash speech, etc.

Jack Yu, head of Kylin desktop operating system, Doctor of National University of Defense Technology, produced and presided over the "open source operating system forum". The speakers are all the core technology big shot from the mainstream operating systems at home and abroad. This paper introduces Kylin team's contributions in the fields of kernel, supporting layer, desktop environment and applications, among which Kylin team's contribution to openstack community ranks the fourth in the world and the first in China. It shows the strong technical strength of Tianjin Kylin company and the technical accumulation of long-term service to open source community. At 2:00 this afternoon, Xiaodong Liu, R & D of Ubuntu Kylin and Doctor of National University of Defense Technology, will continue to participate in the indispensable round table of open source summit of “China open source annual conference in 2019”. He will discuss with other big shot based on "going out and bringing in" topic, to talk about what expectations and cooperation needs domestic enterprises have for international foundations and international open source communities, as well as understanding and cooperation with Chinese developer community and open source projects by international enterprises and open source foundation.
